Jodie Prymke CGF is Australia's only "Design Star" international award-winning picture frame designer and PFGV Certified Guild Picture Framer.
With 30 years experience as a qualified designer, her boutique art gallery in North Adelaide, South Australia, specializes in unique frame designs, French matting and archival quality picture framing of antique and original artworks.
Jodie began her professional picture framing career in 1996. After 12 years as a fashion designer she joined the Picture Framers Guild of Victoria in 1998. In 2001, she became a full member of the PFGV, achieving her Certified Guild Framer's certificate, one of only 19 in Australia, the only one in South Australia.
In 2007 and 2008 Jodie travelled to Bologna and Florence in Italy, where she studied gilding, frame restoration and traditional framing techniques at the artisan studio Oro e Colore owned and run by C and S Martelli, Master Gilders to the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.
On returning to Australia, Jodie Prymke Fine Art Framing was opened in March 2008....
